The Illinois Health Care Association is a non-profit [501(c)(6)] organization that represents long-term care facilities in Illinois. The Association is governed by a Board of Directors comprised of 11 members who serve as the policy-making body of the Association. Board members chair IHCA standing committees which oversee specific IHCA issues. Each Board of Directors member is elected by the IHCA membership. An Executive Director oversees a staff responsible for implementing Board and committee directives.
