Becoming an IHCA Individual Member

Individual membership is designed for individuals engaged in activities related to and allied with those of IHCA, such as members of governing boards or consultants to full members or associate members; students; not currently practicing in licensed long-term care facilities; or individuals simply interested in a better understanding of long-term care. An individual member may not be employed by, or an owner of, a long-term health care facility (defined in the IHCA Constitution as a facility licensed by IDPH or a facility or program licensed by DHS or its successor).

Benefits Include:

  • Members Only and Vendors Only (IHCA's Associate and Individual Newsletter) via e-mail.
  • IHCA online membership directory (updated regularly) which can be accessed anytime.
  • Ability to attend Association meetings, Convention, and seminars at reduced member rates.
  • Reduced rate for advertising in Association publications and on the Association website.
  • IHCA Regional Meetings, held quarterly throughout Illinois.  You may attend any and all of these important meetings and meet with the representatives of IHCA Member Facilities.

Annual fee is $225. Membership becomes effective upon approval of Board of Directors and automatically expires one year later.

Please be advised that, per section 6033(e) of the Internal Revenue Code, Illinois Health Care Association reasonably estimates that 32.97% of your 2005 dues will be spent on lobbying and other expenditures subject to section 162(e)(1) of the Code and therefore is not deductible for federal income tax purposes.
