We are currently seeking an Administrator to oversee our Brentwood North Healthcare facility located in Riverwoods , Illinois .

Position Summary: The primary responsibility of this position is to direct the day-to- day operations of the facility, and in accordance with all federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern skilled nursing facilities. Ultimately responsible for ensuring that the highest degree of quality care is delivered at all times.

Must possess a current, unencumbered Nursing Home Administrator's license in the state of Illinois . A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is preferred. The qualified candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years experience in a health care leadership role within a healthcare setting, preferably in Long Term Care.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate and direct the facility's programs and activities
  • Ensure that all employees, residents, visitors, and the general public follow established policies and procedures
  • To serve on and/or chair various committees within the facility and/or parent organization
  • Accountability and oversight of the human resource functions of the facility, to include personnel management, employee performance accountability, and ongoing education and development
  • Oversight of all safety and sanitation requirements on behalf of staff, residents, visitors, et al
  • To ensure comprehensive and accurate documentation in all clinical and administrative areas. All Corporate Compliance-related responsibilities
  • Ensures that staff have all the appropriate equipment they need to fulfill the needs of our residents
  • Management and oversight of all ancillary, operational and clinical departments (directly or through a chain of command)
  • Ensures the safe and confidential care of all residents in alignment with clinical and other support staff
  • Accountable for all financial and budgetary responsibilities. Makes recommendations for change and/or cost savings and growth opportunities. Manages to budgeted expectations
  • Leadership skills, desire and flexibility to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team in a dynamic healthcare environment

Must have the ability to develop and implement creative solutions to meet business needs, strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple high priority initiatives. Must be a critical thinker and problem solver with a strong sense of teamwork, effective written and verbal communication skills. A strong ability to build and maintain relationships with all constituents.
