Each year the Illinois Health Care Association (IHCA) and The Center for Developmental Disabilities Advocacy and Community Supports (The Center) present the ID/DD Symposium. This year’s symposium will be a hybrid event, with the in-person component being held on June 11 in Springfield together with IHCA/ICAL AL/SLP Symposium. These events will also include a joint expo with an exclusive group of vendors that provide goods and services to these specialized populations.

IHCA and The Center work hard every year to bring providers updates on the hot-button issues currently affecting this special population.
Earn CEs: Participants will earn 5.0 clock hours of continuing education for attending this educational program. This activity meets the IDHS requirements for continuing education credit for QIDPs. It has also been approved for CE credits for nursing home administrators, licensed nurses and social workers by IHCA, an approved sponsor of continuing education by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation.
